My action for the most part has been just drop shotting and wacky rigged senko's since I have not concentrated on sight fishing with my customers. Deeper water patterns will come into play as we head into the summer months and with the vast amount of weed growth that will be depleting the amount of areas to fish on the upper end of the lake. We are catching literally hundreds of six to eight inch bass that can be found all over the lake, this bodes well for the future and is fun for the younger crowd but can be frustrating in your efforts to catch a larger fish. Large schools of bait fish are being seen around the lake and the birds are feeding heavily on them, baits such as flukes have seen an increase in action because of the larger size shad that are being hit by the bass.
Chatterbaits and small swimbaits are also working better now because of the huge population of bait fish through out the lake.
Stay safe, be courteous, take good care of the fish, have your boat checked and be ""Clean and Dry"' if your coming from out of the area. That's it for now, God Bless, Bob
